      Conferences

      • Greater than 175 participants attend an all-day conference providing a venue for problem solving across institutional boundaries that focuses on topics to address the practical needs of HIV clinicians and healthcare providers. The event is jointly sponsored by the East Bay AIDS Center (EBAC) and the East Bay AIDS Education and Training Center (East Bay AETC). San Francisco Bay Area's most knowledgeable speakers are featured and present on topics related to the treatment and care of HIV patients.

      • The Annual Stroke Update Conferences are designed to advance the mission of Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in addressing the needs of community based stroke centers through improved communication between providers of emergency care, acute care and rehabilitation.

The conference features nationally known and local speakers who present the latest developments in intervention, treatment, imaging and therapies of stroke. Interactive break-out sessions provide a venue for small group discussion and collaboration. Through our efforts we have seen many lives changed for the better.

      • REDI sponsored complimentary dinner programs invites Alta Bates Summit Medical Center's primary care and family practice members to become more knowledgeable on specialized practices of medicine. Featured speakers are our very own physicians who share practical instructional use of specialty related topics.
