About the Program
California Pacific Medical Center is one of the largest private, not-for-profit, academic medical centers in California. CPMC is part of Sutter Health, which is the largest health care system in Northern California, serving approximately 3 million patients across 28 hospitals. CPMC is recognized as a quaternary referral center providing advanced medical care with a patient-centered focus. The 1,173 bed medical center has four campuses located throughout the city of San Francisco, offering residency programs in Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry and Radiation Oncology, as well as fellowships in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Hand Microsurgery, Transplant Hepatology, and Pulmonary Critical Care, in addition to Neurocritical Care. CPMC is also affiliated with Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and is one of the main sites where Dartmouth medical students rotate for their core clerkships including neurology.
