About the Fellowship
The CPMC Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology offers high-quality training to the next generation of health psychologists. As a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC), our training program provides the specialized knowledge and skills needed to function effectively as a principal member of an interdisciplinary team and for a successful transition to a career working in hospitals and other medical settings. We combine rigorous education and clinical training with supportive supervision and mentorship that enables our fellows to continue to develop a broad range of clinical and professional competencies. Our faculty are committed to creating an excellent training experience, providing an array of seminars, case conferences, and individual and group supervisions. We have established partnerships with a unique combination of medical programs at CPMC, enabling our fellows to gain clinical experience in working with cancer, cardiology, GI and OB-GYN patients and their families, all within well-integrated interdisciplinary settings.
