We welcome your application to our Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). We’re proud to offer three full-time fellowship positions for the upcoming training year, providing specialized training and serving a diverse group of patients from the San Francisco Bay Area. We strive to meet the highest standards for education, training, supervision, and administration for our program and to create a diverse and enriching environment where fellows are respected and supported.
The orientation of our fellowship program is grounded in an integrative approach that incorporates biopsychosocial, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, systems, and other perspectives. We are seeking interns with a strong interest in developing the knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent, evidence-based treatments to a diverse patient population and their families. We are deeply committed to the education and training of our post-doctoral fellows who are well-prepared to transition to independent practice in a wide range of interdisciplinary healthcare settings.
COVID-19 Update: To protect patients and staff, our fellows are currently working from home, providing telehealth patient encounters and receiving supervision and educational trainings through video conferences. 2021-2022 fellowship interviews will likely be conducted online.
After the UND, we have open positions for the 2021-2022 training year and we're accepting applications for both our Psycho-Oncology and Women's Mental Health Tracks. To submit an application, please email your CV and a cover letter to Dr. Bornstein at Bornstjx@sutterhealth.org. Letters of recommendation will be requested at that time and all interviews will be held over video conference.
