Internal Medicine Residency Program
The program will provide its residents with access to the tools they need in a robust learning environment that prepares them for providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. The inaugural cohort will also have the unique opportunity to help shape what is expected to be a premier residency program and significantly improve access to care within Stanislaus County.
The program’s primary site is Memorial Medical Center. Our Internal Medicine residents will train under board-certified and licensed physicians with extensive teaching experience. These dedicated doctors will mentor residents and instill in them a desire for lifelong learning with the shared goal of improving their patients’ lives and their communities throughout their careers. Our program boasts an innovative curriculum with a focus on evidence-based care, in addition to empathy and caring for the whole person, throughout the residency. Our graduates will be prepared to make the most out of their careers by caring for patients in a way that makes the most sense for themselves and the families they serve.
